Because he was jailed by the Chief of Mwomo for burning the grass in Mwomo plains and dividing it among the people who wanted to cultivate including non-Shilluks. He was detained for a long time. And when the King went to Mwomo in a visit, Amon presented his case in this song, accusing the chief of taking the authority of the King. The composer sees that the chief is not better than him; he is a frog like him. Moreover, the chief should not prevent people from cultivating dura. And he ended the song by calling for peace and harmony.
