Lee, "The Negro's Position in the August Election," giving reasons for supporting the Volunteer Ticket; Lee is Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Volunteer Ticket. Page 3, entitled "What the Volunteer Candidates Stand For," is a list of issues the four candidates embrace. It concludes with the phrase, "The Negro Has a Love Affair with Destiny." Page 4 is a get-out-the-vote notice aimed at blacks, and includes the phrase "Don't Listen to 'Uncle Tom's'."
