dc.description The scientific analysis and study of ancient materials has greatly enhanced our understanding of the past. We will consider a variety of scientific methods used in the analysis of archaeological materials, as well as work towards developing an appreciation for how science can help in answering questions of provenance, age, and methods of fabrication.
