This syllabus was submitted to the Rhodes College Office of Academic Affairs by the course instructor.It will be the purpose of this course to explore "world religions" with these issues in mind. We will read ethnographic treatments of various religious communities and discuss the ways in which these particular "windows" into religious worlds give us pictures of those religious worlds that would be different if we were looking through different windows.
